Pricing stuff is easy, and the fees seem fair—well, fair enough for what you’re getting. That said, they can still add up quicker than I expected.

I tried checking out and it kept failing, but it looks like I was still charged. I haven’t gotten any update or confirmation yet, so I’m concerned about what’s going on.

I had a hard time with the tax compliance stuff and it ended up being the reason I left. It just felt messier than I expected, though to be fair, some parts of the experience were fine and I’m sure it works better for other people.

Trying to use gumroad on my phone was frustrating. The pages were slow, the buttons felt way too small, and I kept tapping one thing only to have something else open instead.
Checkout got stuck on me twice, and then the page refreshed so I had to start all over. I was just trying to buy one simple file, but the whole thing made me feel less like a customer and more like some random ticket number in a queue.
Maybe the desktop version works better, but the mobile site feels unfinished to me. I ended up giving up and switching to my laptop because it was the only way to get through it...

I’ve been using gumroad for my monthly membership, it’s been easy to manage, which is nice because I wasn’t exactly looking to make this more complicated than it needed to be. Adding posts is straightforward, and checking active subscribers is simple enough. I did have one canceled payment issue that took a little while to sort itself out, because apparently that’s just part of the experience, but it eventually got resolved. It’s definitely not perfect, but for what I need right now, it gets the job done...

I grabbed a small digital guide on Gumroad the payment part was about as painless as it gets. My card went through on the first try, no random errors, no extra hoops, and nothing that made me second-guess the purchase.
The receipt showed up right away and the download link was there fast too. I’m guessing they’ve tightened up their checkout process or maybe I just got lucky, but either way it worked exactly how I hoped: pay, get the thing, move on. Easy 5 stars from me.

I do wish the review process was explained a bit more clearly, though, actually, it wasn’t a huge deal, just something that would’ve made the start less confusing. The main thing I ran into was the restrictions. Certain products or links can get flagged, and it’s not always obvious why. Support did get back to me, just not as quickly as I hoped. Still, it’s not a bad platform at all. It just feels a little limiting if you’re someone who wants more control over how everything works.

The docs were actually helpful. I got the basics down quickly without feeling lost, and something about it just made the whole setup feel a lot less confusing...

I had to deal with a refund issue, it went way smoother than I expected. The dispute process wasn’t a nightmare at all, and my refund got sorted quickly, felt like a tiny miracle compared to some other experiences I’ve had.

I found the customization process easy overall. Everything felt straightforward, and I didn’t have to spend a lot of time figuring things out. Based on my experience, it seems like something you can trust to be simple and user-friendly

My first impression of Gumroad was that it was straightforward, and that’s mostly held up. I use it mainly for affiliates, and setting up links and tracking sales has been easy enough without much hassle. I do wish there were a few more options when it comes to managing payouts and pulling reports, but for what I need right now, it gets the job done.

Overall it works well and I haven’t had any real issues using it. The main thing is the marketing side feels kind of limited to me. Maybe I just expected more because the rest of it is solid, but I figured there would be more tools or options built in. Still useful, just not quite as much as I thought for that part.

A few integrations need little workarounds to get things running the way I want, and that gets annoying fast if you’re using a bunch of different tools!!! Overall it works, but I definitely wish that part was smoother!!!

I can see my sales, which is helpful, but when I want deeper reports or a clearer picture of what’s actually working, it gets frustrating fast. Date filtering feels limited, and tracking where buyers are coming from isn’t as useful as I expected.
